Clay County Christmas Project
Once again, it's time to pull everything together for the Clay County Christmas Party, scheduled for Saturday, December 2.  These dates are important now that we are in the final stages of preparation:
  • Tues./Wed., 11-21/22    Stockings (empty) and stocking stuffer items turned in to theology classrooms
  • Tuesday, 11-28      All food due to homerooms
  • Wed., 11-29      Wrapped gifts due to homerooms
  • Thurs.,11-30      Stockings stuffed
  • Fri., 12-1      Trucks loaded

Providing families with a food box is part of our Clay County Christmas tradition. Your child has been asked to bring in one of the following items in the indicated size and quantities, e.g., a child might be asked to bring in the spaghetti sauce for two food boxes which would mean 2x2=4 cans of spaghetti sauce. The food box list from which your child will bring an item is as follows:
  • Pasta (3 pounds, e.g. ziti, spaghetti)
  • Spaghetti Sauce ( 2 cans- no jars)
  • Cornbread Mix (2 boxes/bags)
  • Baking Mix (40 oz. e.g. Bisquick)
  • Instant Oatmeal (Any flavor,1 box 8 – 10 count)
  • Soup (4 cans, 10 oz. minimum)
  • Macaroni & Cheese (12 boxes)
  • Vegetables (4 cans, e.g. corn/green beans)
  • Two Creamy Peanut Butter (16-18 oz. small container)
  • Applesauce (2 single serve 6 packs)
