Last week I had the joy of attending the Catholic Charities Charity in Action Award luncheon featuring a video produced by four Charleston Catholic seniors and honoring three individuals for their work with Catholic Charities programs. One man spends countless hours tutoring adults as they prepare for their high school equivalency exam; one woman works with an Iraqi family of refugees as they adjust to life in America; and another woman distributes food to the hungry through a mobile food pantry in western West Virginia.
